This sculpture is desire to come together and unify into a complete form. Woman. The front figure is Escher-like close to congealing but aloof.  The back figure is coquettishly eager to attract its’ completeness. An uncomfortable distance separates them. The moving stream on which they are borne shows continuance in spite of what transpires with its’ passengers.

The two figures are of mesquite turned and carved. The back figure has Texas alabaster carved for the middle of its form mortised and tendon into place. The stream or base is carved of black willow wood. A bronze edition of 25 has been made from a casting of the wooden and stone original and cast with exquisite patina to mimic the original. The molding and casting process is very difficult due to the damage to wood and the great detail
